最近暖かくなってきしたね〜
早く素敵なお庭でお昼寝したいですよ、僕は。今はまだこの状態なんですけどね↓😱😱😱（笑）
さて僕は今朝からこの本をず〜と眺めていました↓
最近買った『世界の美しいバラの庭』という本です。
本と言ってもこれは単なる写真集です。小難しい解説は一切なし。パラパラと気軽に読めるので、暇さえあれば読んでいます。
ここに載っている庭はとにかくどれも美しいんですよ。
そしてその美しい庭を何度も見ていると、実は美しい庭の中にも特に美しい庭があることに気が付きます。
僕はそこでふと思いました。
「この美しさの印象の差はなんだろう？」って。
なんと言えばいいでしょうか。この写真をパッと見た時の、直感でその庭が美しいとかどうか脳が瞬時に判断している時の基準？みたいなものです。
そこで僕はある仮説を立てました。
それは、
美しいバラ庭には「花と緑色の部分の割合」に黄金比があるのではないか？と。
そうした視点で写真集を眺めてみると、確かに僕が美しいと感じた庭はどれも緑が多いのです。
特に共通しているのは、地面の緑色部分の多さ、すなわち『芝』です。
地面が土むきだしで、そこに赤やピンクのバラが咲いていても確かに綺麗だと感じますが、例えばこの写真のように↓芝があったほうが、バラはより美しく華やかに見えます。
間違いなく周囲の緑色がバラの美しさを引き立てていますよね。比率にしたら花と緑=2:8あるいは3:7ぐらいでしょうか。とにかくパッと見て美しいと感じます。
ということはですよ、まずバラより先に芝を植えるべきなんじゃないでしょうか。
僕の考えが正解かどうがは分かりませんが、とりあえず芝庭づくりの本も買ってみようと思います。
将来は写真のような美しい庭で、彼女とお茶したり、お昼寝したりできたら最高だなぁ☺️
